Fall Birding Walk in Grand Lake Stream

On Thursday, September 14th, Downeast Lakes Land Trust welcomes forest ecologist and local bird expert Marion Bates for a birding walk in the Downeast Lakes Community Forest. Over 180 species have been recorded in the community forest, and the DLCF is an important stop on the Maine Birding Trail. Birders of all ages and skill levels are welcome, and should expect to encounter waterfowl, raptors, and migrating fall warblers. Please bring binoculars and sturdy footwear, and meet at the Grand Lake Stream Dam parking lot. For more information, please contact DLLT at (207) 796 – 2100, or email cbrown@downeastlakes.org.
