Held in late May or early June each year, the festival is a celebration of “the ecological wonders of the birds of the Gulf of Maine.” Through a series of lectures, birding walks, offshore cruises, and other outdoor adventures and indoor events, festival participants will have an opportunity to connect with many of Acadia’s bird species and diverse habitats, and meet and learn from many of the local birding experts.
