Southwest Harbor Week – Celebrate the Quietside of Acadia: Lobstering by Sail Built in Friendship, Maine in the late 1800’s, Friendship Sloops were used by coastal fisherman to haul lobster traps by hand under sail. They have remained popular because of their comfort, beauty and seaworthy nature. Cruise on a restored Friendship Sloop with Karl Brunner, founder of Sail Acadia. Seating is limited.
