Chick Hill Guide Service is an upland bird hunting, canoeing, and fishing guide service located in central Maine, 30 minutes from Bangor. Owner Mike Hegarty, a Registered Maine Guide licensed for fishing, recreation, and hunting, has a lifetime of outdoor experience. After 40 years of active duty in the U.S. Navy, he now guides as a second career, and loves taking people out on fishing, canoeing, and bird hunting trips. With a 21 ft Maine Freighter canoe, paddle canoes and kayaks we spin fish or fly fish for small mouth bass, wade fish for trout/salmon in the many Maine rivers, streams, lakes and ponds, or troll for landlocked salmon in the spring and fall.
