The Lubec Historical Society & Museum is housed in the former Columbian Packing Co. store built in the early 1900s. The museum includes:
- an extensive photography collection, including vintage ships' photographs
- sailors' log books & fishing gear
- vintage clothing
- a complete, 1940s barber shop
- a model school room
- photos of early elementary schools
- high school memorabilia from the late 1800s forward
- old tools
- military service records of the men and women of Lubec
